Sad eyes that haunts me
Reminds me of ancient days
When your nod's enough

The small feather fly to and fro, up and down
Blown by the wind of nothingness
In the vast hollow space of my body's crown


There are times it mutely wanders my silent sea
Flying above it like a li'l gnat
But never making ripples that will stir me


If it ascends to my clear pacified sky
It dances like a sad angel
Only to the tune of a whispered lullaby


Now as the light thing settles on my barren land
It will not quiver for a time
Until the wind of voidness blows again the sand

The smile that used to string every bead of my soul
Is haunting me even in my unconscious hours every now and then
Like a poltergeist banging outside my bedroom's door
In a dreadful afternoon nap


Oh the blackhole of memories past
Extending its tentacles at me ---
Grabbing my extremities,
Gripping them tightly ---
Every time in my solitary affairs

Nothing is left of my being


Always vacuumed back to moments thought forgotten

But an everyday spectacle I beheld

Carefree and naive,

My hands I extended

An inaudible whisper,
A faraway star.

A senseless epic war.
